Meet the Founder Turning Marketing Spend Into Measurable Growth

Nirmal Danansooriya is the Founder and CEO of Platform Daddy, a Sri Lankan performance marketing agency built on one simple belief: marketing should be measurable, transparent, and focused on real business growth.

After witnessing many businesses invest heavily in digital marketing without seeing meaningful returns, Nirmal founded Platform Daddy to challenge the traditional agency model. His vision was to build a client-first agency where transparency, accountability, and measurable outcomes replace vague reporting and unrealistic promises – a philosophy that has struck a chord across the startup Sri Lanka ecosystem.

From Local Agency to Global Growth Partner

Today, Platform Daddy has grown into a performance-driven growth partner, helping brands across 9+ countries scale through performance marketing, paid advertising, SEO, social media marketing, web development, marketing automation, CRM solutions, email marketing, and creative branding.

Rather than offering disconnected services, the company develops integrated growth strategies that align every marketing channel with measurable business objectives and revenue growth. That integrated model is one reason the agency has become a reference point for how a startup Sri Lanka founder can build a business that competes internationally.

Certified Expertise Behind Every Campaign

What sets Platform Daddy apart is its team of certified professionals, including Meta Certified Digital Marketing Associates, Google Ads Specialists, CPD UK Certified Digital Marketing Professionals, HubSpot Marketing Automation experts, and WordPress & WooCommerce specialists.

This specialized expertise enables the company to deliver data-driven performance marketing campaigns focused on qualified leads, conversions, return on ad spend (ROAS), customer acquisition, and long-term business growth.

Five Core Values

Under Nirmal’s leadership, Platform Daddy has built its reputation around five core values: Transparency First, Performance Over Promises, Certified Expertise, Agility, and Integrity. Every campaign is monitored, optimized, and refined using real-time data, ensuring every marketing investment is tied to measurable business outcomes.

Looking Ahead

As performance marketing continues to evolve with AI, automation, and emerging technologies, Platform Daddy is committed to helping businesses stay ahead by combining strategy, creativity, and technology into a single growth engine – an approach that offers a useful blueprint for any startup Sri Lanka business planning its next stage of expansion.

Through a client-first approach and a relentless focus on measurable results, Nirmal Danansooriya continues to position Platform Daddy as a trusted performance marketing partner, helping businesses generate qualified leads, maximize marketing ROI, and achieve sustainable growth across local and international markets.

  • Sri Lanka has launched this year’s petroleum exploration licensing round for the Mannar Basin, with the official launch taking place on August 25 at the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation headquarters. Organised by the Petroleum Development Authority of Sri Lanka, the event was held under the patronage of Energy Minister Anura Karunathilaka and Labour Minister and Deputy Minister of Finance and Planning Dr. Anil Jayantha. Under the latest licensing round, four exploration blocks covering approximately 34,000 square kilometres in the Mannar Basin will be offered to international energy companies for further exploration. The Ministry said previous exploration activities in the basin had confirmed the presence of petroleum and natural gas, including discoveries of natural gas and liquid hydrocarbons. Petroleum Development Authority Director General Neil de Silva said the basin’s largely unexplored areas present significant opportunities for international investors to undertake further exploration using modern geological surveying methods and advanced technologies. He added that prospective companies would also have access to geological information on the Mannar Basin held by the Authority. According to de Silva, existing geological data suggests that the Mannar Basin could hold around 2 billion barrels of petroleum and 9 trillion cubic feet of natural gas, with the potential for these resources to be commercially recovered through drilling.
