Sri Lanka Wins First International Tamil Debating Title In Malaysia
Sri Lankan school Tamil debaters made history by claiming their first international championship, winning the title at the Sampanthan Paindhamizh Chudar 5.0 competition held in Malaysia.
The triumph was secured by the National Development Squad of the Tamil Debaters’ Council of Sri Lanka, who became the first non-Malaysian team to capture the prestigious championship organised by Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM). This accomplishment represents a significant milestone for Sri Lankan Tamil debating on the global stage.
