China has assured continued support to Sri Lanka and is ready to share its experience under the “Rebuilding Sri Lanka” programme, said Wang Junzheng, member of China’s CPC Central Committee, during a meeting with President Anura Kumara Dissanayake in Colombo.
President Dissanayake thanked China for its emergency and humanitarian assistance after the recent disaster and appreciated China’s ongoing support during this difficult period.
Wang Junzheng said China will continue cooperation, support existing projects, and help launch new ones. He also said China will assist key government initiatives such as Clean Sri Lanka, anti-corruption efforts, rural poverty reduction and rebuilding livelihoods.
